| Alright, so I'm replacing the OS drive in one of my computers with an SSD.. and I'm wondering if I go to AHCI, will I still be able to access the information on my storage drive that was originally SATA II IDE? You should be able to, yes. AHCI really only makes a difference on the OS drive itself. ... |

| OBJECTIVE COMPLETE! Turns out it was an FPS config that was causing the problem. Once I removed it, it was smooth sailing. Thanks for all your help Venom.
